About us

Two companies, one product, one backlog.

paiyaay is built by Canbuild and GDigital — two established software companies working under a single written partnership rather than a new startup. Architecture and the platform core are run from the United Kingdom; delivery, product ownership and everything on the ground run from Pakistan.

Why we are building this

Pakistan's tyre trade coordinates on WhatsApp and paper. That is not a criticism — it is an opportunity.

Around 80% of tyre consumption here is replacement, and the four-wheel end of it is import-led, multi-brand and fragmented. A distributor can hold hundreds of size and load-rating variants across several godowns, buy by the container, and still not know at the end of a month where the margin actually went.

The tools on offer are either generic accounting systems that treat a 205/55R16 like any other line item, or shop tills that bill well and manage nothing. Neither knows what a DOT date means. Neither builds landed cost across a consignment. Neither speaks Urdu to the owner at 7pm.

We are not trying to change how the trade works. We are trying to give it a system that already understands how it works.

The Promise Ledger

We sell only what has shipped.

Software vendors in this market have a credibility problem, and it is earned. Features are sold that do not exist, integrations are promised that never arrive, and the customer finds out six months into an implementation.

So we keep a written list of what the product does today. Sales may quote from that list and nothing else. Roadmap items get dates only after engineering commits to them, in writing. When we miss a date, you hear it from us before you have to chase it.

One person owns that list. Ask to see it — including the part that is not built yet.

How we work

Six rules we do not bend

01

The owner never has to log in

Dashboards are for staff. The Seth gets a 7pm Urdu WhatsApp digest and one-tap approvals. A beautiful analytics screen nobody opens is worth nothing.

02

Sales sells only what has shipped

The Promise Ledger binds everyone, partners included.

03

Your data belongs to you

Full export on request, any time, in writing. No hostage tactics, ever. Network analytics use anonymised data and only with a signed agreement.

04

Field Fridays

Every builder — engineers included — spends time in a tyre market at least quarterly. You cannot design for a godown you have never stood in.

05

Support in Urdu with a stated response time

A phone number a human answers. Urdu capability is a hiring criterion, not a nice-to-have.

06

The numbers must match the register

Trust dies on the first wrong number and never fully returns. Accuracy is a brand feature, not an engineering detail.

Where we are, plainly

Pre-launch. Building with design partners.

Warehouse and counter are in build; the scanner app follows. We have no live customers yet and we are not going to imply otherwise. Three design-partner places are open for 2026: you get the first six months at cost and real influence over what gets built; we get honest feedback, a reference and anonymised data rights. That is the whole trade.

Bring us one consignment file and one rate list.

In one meeting we will show you your own stock, your own landed cost and your own aging — inside the system. If the numbers do not justify the spend, we will tell you that in the same meeting.
